The Queue Series
Fascinated by the enthusiasm with which the British face long queues, the Italian artist has created a collection of six paintings dedicated to some of London’s most famous events.
All the paintings in the series are watercolours on Khadi or Arches paper.
The figures in the paintings are people – some of whom the artist met and some of whom she photographed by chance during the events. In each painting, the artist has included elements from her own life – things that happened whilst she was working on the painting.
Only 100 copies of each of these paintings will be produced. The copies will be numbered in the order in which they are purchased.

The Wimbledon Queue
A regular at the tournament, Anna has in the last year taken advantage of the queue to practise live portraiture. Most of the people portrayed are people Anna has met over the years.
Anna also places herself in every queue, from the VIP queue to the tent queue, leaving it up to the viewer to spot her.
The Chelsea Flower Show
As a lover of the Chelsea Flower Show, Anna has captured the event across the whole week, from the first days of setting up the elaborate displays to the show itself, when the streets fill with visitors, colour and flowers.
The painting brings together the different stages of the week: the making of the gardens and decorations, the atmosphere of the streets around the show, the excitement of the event itself, and finally the dismantling, when the flowers begin to disappear — sometimes carried away by the occasional opportunistic thief.

The Art Studio
As Anna only paints people she has personally met at the events she attends, the Open Studios of her very first Art Studio offered a unique opportunity for visitors to become part of her artwork.
By becoming part of the painting, people were not simply buying a print — they were supporting an emerging artist and becoming part of a work that documents an important moment in her journey.
Unlike the other paintings in the series, prints of this artwork were produced exclusively for those who chose to become part of the collection. The sale is now closed.
Coming soon...
As Christmas approaches, Anna is turning her attention to one of London’s most beloved festive traditions.
The next painting will capture a place where music, dance and Christmas magic have come together for generations — but for now, the subject remains a secret.
One thing we can reveal: it involves a very familiar story, a very special London stage, and a tradition that returns every Christmas.
returns every Christmas.
