The Wimbledon Queue is part of the series The Queues, six paintings exploring the curious act of waiting.

Fascinated by the British enthusiasm for waiting in long queues, the Italian artist decided to dedicate the first of the six paintings to the queue for the Wimbledon Chempionship.
A regular at the tournament, Anna has in the last year taken advantage of the queue to practise live portraiture. Most of the people portrayed are people Anna has met over the years.
Anna also places herself in every queue, from the VIP queue to the tent queue, leaving it up to the viewer to spot her. 
 
Only 100 copies of each of these paintings will be produced. The copies will be numbered in the order in which they are purchased.
